When the lower jaw is pulled forward during the night, it may make the jaw muscles sore and temporarily change the bite. The Bite Tabs are intended to be used as an exercise tool to put your jaw back into normal bite position. Here's how to correctly use the tabs:
Step 1.
Place both tabs between your front teeth near the canines. Make sure the back teeth are not touching.
Step 2.
Slide your lower forward and then back holding the plastic tabs between the teeth (angled down).
Step 3.
Bite down on back teeth keeping tabs in place.
Step 4.
Squeeze for about 5‐10 seconds and repeat until back teeth come together.
Step 5.
Some people do this while in the shower with warm water.
Step 6.
If causes pain the jaw joints, stop and call the doctor’s office.
